Whether you're new to outdoor painting or looking to expand your skills, this workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to learn, create, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors with fellow artists and benefit from the instruction of Chadd Caldwell, professional oil painter and Dordt Art Professor.

Your registration fee includes the use of a box easel, making it easy to set up and paint on location. Participants are welcome to bring their own oil painting supplies, or you may use our supplies for an additional $10 fee.

In this workshop you will: construct a mountain ducimer from a kit, using basic tools, add personalization, and learn to play (music provided)!

Discover the art of hand-built pottery in special workshop led by master potter Jake Van Wyk. Perfect for beginners and those looking to expand their skills, this class will guide you through the fundamentals of shaping clay by hand. The first two sessions focus on building your unique pottery pieces, and the third session is dedicated to glazing—adding color and finishing touches to bring your creations to life. Join us for a fun and creative experience and leave with beautiful, functional works of art you made yourself!

Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT), the nation's largest touring children's theatre, is returning to Sioux Center! A tour team will arrive with a set, lights, costumes, props, and make-up, everything it takes to put on a play... except the cast. Actors who would like to participate must sign up in advance, and on the first day we will hold auditions to decide which actor will play each role. This year's show will be "The Little Mermaid"! This camp is open to grades 1-8 but has a limited number of spaces for specific age groups. Different students will need to be at different rehearsals, all of which will take place between the hours of 10am-2:15pm M-F at Te Paske Theater in Sioux Center Middle School. Participants must be able to attend all performances and rehearsals. A schedule will be handed out Monday at the end of the morning session. Performances will be on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Performances Tickets: Free (freewill donations appreciated!)
